All packed and ready to go. Have torch, sleeping bag and mosquito repellant - looking forward to getting to India. I just have 11 hours on a plane first ......Will keep you posted..

Not long now... getting myself organised finally, its been so busy at work and only now thinking of what I need to pack, injections (?!!), money, haircut...

JUST GOT MY DATES...
The estimated time of departure from the hotel in Goa is November 3rd at approximately 8am. I will, cross fingers and toes, arrive in the final hotel at around 4pm on November 12th.

Just a little longer now..
Lots of good things to do before I focus on my trip. Can't believe its nearly time and am excited and a little nervous about the challenge. Am also humbled by all our sponsors and supporters, thank you very much. Finally, still have time to get some raffle tickets and we have a good few prizes to be won.

45 days to go
Today marks the start of the countdown to departure - 45 days to go. All the car stickers have now been sold to generous local sponsors which means that the Ambi (short for Hindustani Ambassador) is going to look like a serious rally car full of Bury St Edmunds names 1000's of miles away on Indian roads. I look forward to being able to photograph the car and send you some great pictures - hopefully of the car and sponsorship intact!

Visa through
My visa for India has come through........YAHOO!!! Let's just hope that my Driver's Licence comes through soon too......it got "lost" in Skiathos a few weeks ago.
